The ideal candidate would be responsible for the following:
To ensure the optimal functioning of the store and excellent service to internal and external customers;
Planning of stock according to production plan;
Ensuring correct and timely capturing of issue notes;
See to it that cycle counts are done and ensure that system and actual stock level balance;
Overseeing monthly stock take and report on variances;
Manage slow moving stock to prevent excess stock;
Ensure that stock levels are within the min/max limits;
Ensuring that the Storeman render professional services to all end-users;
Ensure that stock orders are placed on time and expedited;
Ensuring that company rules are followed in all issue and receiving processes;
Maintain material safety data sheets/certificates of analysis for all related items in store;
Putting procedures in place to prevent stock-out situations;
Responsible for all loose assets control;
Ensure protective clothing files for Storeman are updated;
Stock take on forms to be processed;
Completing weekly and monthly reports;
Maintain Quality, Food Safety and traceability in the stores and when issuing stock;
Comply with Allergen Management procedure;
Maintain Supplier food safety certificates;
Implementing of 20 Keys/ HACCP / Risk Control and apply general housekeeping rules;
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
Matric / Store qualification;
At least 3 years’ experience in a Stores environment;
Computer literate;
The ideal candidate should be hardworking, honest, self-motivated & disciplined;
Must have excellent management, communication & interpersonal skills, as well as problem solving & planning skills;
Must be able to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required.
