SUMMARY:
Our client requires a warehouse assistant to assist with the receiving and despatching of mild steel products and able to work shifts from Monday to Friday (10am to 7pm)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experience and Requirements:
3-5 years’ experience in the Warehouse as a Supervisor, from a steel or manufacturing environment, able to identify steel and tube and other steel related products
Computer literate
Have a stable work record and contactable references
Of sober habits
Be physically fit and energetic and able to work on your feet
Able to work under pressure
Able to work Monday to Friday (10:00 -19:00)
Reside on the East Rand
Duties and responsibilities:
Ensure that the correct stock is loaded for the following days delivery
Check incoming stock
Work closely with the Warehouse Manager
Route planning
General housekeeping duties
