Synopsis: Our client, a renowned establishment nestled within the breathtaking landscapes of Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga, is seeking a diligent and experienced Stock Controller to join their team. As the Stock Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of stock control, including orders, deliveries, GRV processing, and monthly stock analyses and reporting. Job Description: As the Stock Controller, your key responsibilities will include:
Receiving goods from suppliers and ensuring the correctness and condition of deliveries.
Verifying the contents of consignments and capturing invoices daily to monitor stock holding and quantities ordered.
Controlling theoretical stock levels and issuing daily requisitions.
Reconciling stock usage vs sales on a daily basis.
Attending stock counts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Capturing stock counts and investigating variances.
Submitting stock reports and highlighting areas for review.
Ensuring compliance with OHSA and HACCP regulations and other applicable legislation.
Sourcing competitive pricing and quality products in line with company standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 qualification.
2 years of experience as a stock controller.
Knowledge and experience in Opera and Micros would be beneficial.
Any certificate in accounting will be an advantage.
Excellent computer skills.
Highly accurate with figures.
Confidential and professional demeanor.
High level of integrity.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Policy and procedural driven mindset.
