Knowledge of traffic laws
Physically fit
No criminal record
No experience required
Key Performance Areas
Monitors traffic movement and road situations
Patrolling an area, check traffic movements, and look for illegally parked vehicles
Ensures law enforcement of traffic breaches
Reporting irregularities and violations of the law that cannot be enforced
Drives awareness campaigns and traffic educational programmes
Suggesting for improvement of various traffic problems
Preventing violation of traffic rules
Checking parking meters, signs, or road markings that need maintenance
