The City of Johannesburg’s Opportunity Centre at the Joburg Market and the National Lottery Commission are hosting an entrepreneurship workshop on Thursday, 16 November 2023. The workshop is expected to bring together entrepreneurs, innovators and business enthusiasts for a day of insightful presentations and networking opportunities. Whether you are looking to expand your business or you are an emerging entrepreneur looking to kick-start a business, this event is your key to unlocking a world of possibilities with industry experts, like-minded individuals all under one roof unpacking insights into the dynamics of entrepreneurship.
The event will take place at ANEW Hotel Parktonian in Braamfontein and will provide a platform for entrepreneurs to share some of their success stories and contributions to the nation’s economic growth.
Akona Bovula, the manager of the Market Opportunity Centre, says they are elated and honoured to shine the spotlight on entrepreneurs.

The workshop forms part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, which is celebrated worldwide annually from 13 to 19 November to support entrepreneurs across the globe, fostering a sense of empowerment in every nation and community especially for those who might face challenges or never thought about starting a business before.
