SUMMARY:
Johannesburg. Established, fast growing concern servicing the FMCG industry seeks Warehouse Assistant with at least 2 years warehousing experience to join their team.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate picking of stock according to picking slip
Verify that correct stock was picked
Ensure accurate packing of stock into correct areas
Prepare products for delivery
Pack and load products onto delivery vehicles according to company specifications
Complete deliveries and collections to and from customers if and when required
Ensure that all stock is correctly and neatly located, binned, and displayed at all times
Responsible for receiving goods and inventory control
Ensure all completed paperwork per order is handed into the office admin for daily processing
Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12
Minimum 2 years working experience in a warehouse environment
Experience in picking and checking
Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems
Basic computer skills
Code 10 driver’s license with PDP (advantage)
Mobile Hoist Operator license (advantage)
Experience dealing with courier companies (advantage)
