Receptionist
Job Summary
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival. Informs customers by answering calls or referring inquiries.
Responsibilities and Duties.
- Meeting and greeting clients.
- Keeping the reception area tidy.
- Answering and forwarding phone calls.
- Taking messages and relaying this correctly to all departments.
- Answering the phone in a polite and correct manor and relaying messages correctly.
- Responsible for printing stickers or barcodes daily.
- Full responsibility when your buddy is sick or on leave — proper handover must be done with password and everything you are working on, Well presented at all times.
- Adhere to the company code of conduct and rules.
- Training/upskilling of new employees and current staff when a new item/range becomes available.
- Receipting in of PPO’s and PO’s on SYNC.
- Housekeeping — your work station to be neat and tidy at all times.
- Responsibilities and duties are not limited to the above.Qualifications/Skills
- Matric
- Microsoft Suite -Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft PowerPoint; Microsoft Outlook
- SYNC – The Complete ERP & PLM software solution for the Apparel Industry
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
- Customer service
- Organization skills and a positive attitude.
