Must have atleast 4-5 years experience in similar position and field
-Must reside within the South Suburbs
Duties & Responsibilities
– Acquiring and maintaining business through exceptional service delivery and communication.
– Maintaining policies and procedures of operations department.
– Performing regular operational audits to ensure compliance.
-Coordinating of operations team work, delegating tasks to ensure the department runs smoothly.
-Managing Human Resource performance(operations staff & drivers).
-Update customers on the position of the cargo as and when changes takes place.
-Ensure all cargo is allocated to trucks.
-Ensure required arrangements are made for loading and offloading the cargo.
-Coordinate the operations team on the loading and offloading of the vehicles.
-De-brief all drivers and follow up to ensure instructions are followed.
-Monitor stat-elite tracking to identify vehicles on route to destinations.
-Ensure drivers are of all heath and safety measures and have the correct PPE before leaving the depots.
-Ensure policies and procedures concerning delivery documents are adhered to.
