What is This Learnership?
Candidates who live with disabilities and are interested in pursuing a career in the freight and logistics sector are offered a learnership opportunity by Bidvest International Logistics.
The business supports the development of new talent and over the years has offered many students learnerships in the logistics sector to close the job gap.
Candidates will work in the human resources department while enrolled in the program and will answer to the national training and compliance manager.
This 12-month program seeks to give candidates the opportunity to get significant job experience and earn a recognized credential from TETA (Transport Education and Training Authority.)
The program’s primary performance areas are:
Committing to the entire learnership program’s term
Completing each division’s academic and practical requirements: Transportation modes include air, road, sea, and warehousing.
Finishing every module on the BIL eLearning Platform
Assembling a portfolio of supporting documentation that you will submit after earning the qualification.
Requirements
Please make sure you meet ALL of the following minimum entrance requirements before submitting your application because if you don’t, your application will be rejected:
Applicants must be a citizen of South Africa.
Matriculated or equivalent required.
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
Must be a disabled person.
Must be able to finish the program in its entirety.
Must demonstrate a strong interest in the transport and logistics sector.
Must possess rudimentary computer literacy abilities.
